(Now Ex-)Housemate confessed to me on the phone the other day that she thinks she's become a Buffy fan. Are we surprised? I am unsurprised.

Meanwhile NuRoommate has been coming to the conclusion that all this fanfic stuff is maybe not the juvenile enterprise she thought. I'd convinced her that possibly it had some merit and she'd read a couple of things I pointed her to, but a couple of days ago she said, "Did you know there's Battlestar Galactica fanfiction?" (If I ever get around to watching BSG, it will be her fault.) And then today, breathlessly, "Did you know there's Gilmore Girls fanfiction?!? It's like having another episode of the show that never got written!"

I do believe we have a convert.
