* This show is SO WEIRD. In all the best ways.

* If I had to pick one character in all of fictiondom to take a leisurely sojourn with Death (Discworld version), it'd be Agent Dale Cooper. They'd be fascinated by all the same sort of things. I'm sure Coop would have Death doing headstands in no time.

* I love the score - just as distinct and idiosyncratic as the rest of the show.

Am through 2.06. Am still trying to pick up all the threads from when I finished S1 a year ago - this is not a show you want to take a long hiatus from. /o\

Oh, I'm not giving up! I'm sticking through to the end. I am Determined. (And it's making it easy on me right now. I'm in the zone where I'm actually excited to watch the next ep, which isn't a zone that happens often.)

Ooh, so you've never seen it before? It's so atmospheric and bizarre and you're right, the score is amazing and *tiny voice* I might have watched it live on ABC a billion years ago. Yes, I'm that old :) Glad you're enjoying it.

Also, don't you think Agent Cooper and Dean Winchester could have an awesome conversation about pie? (You should totally write that fanfic.)

Atmospheric and bizarre are excellent descriptors! Yeah, I've never seen it before. I started it last summer and then took a break and am just getting back to it. It's so very much its own thing; I've never seen another show even remotely like it.

I feel that Dean would have absolutely no idea what to make of Agent Cooper. Cooper could probably butter him up pretty fast through sheer sincerity.

I had totally forgotten this line! And as soon as I read it I could hear Pete saying it in my head. (I love Pete. Pete's marvelous.)

I remember loving Twin Peaks when it was actually on, but I was a teenager then. I haven't seen it since. But this post, and your last TP post, and that episode of Psych is making me think I need to track it down...

It is wholly delightful. I'm already classing it as one of my very favorite TV shows, just for being so thoroughly itself in such a generally charming way.

In other words, yes, I recommend a rewatch!
