Fic posted over at winter_of_faith

My attempts to write for winter_of_faith have been a saga of fail. I realized a couple of weeks ago that the epic Faith/Giles-in-Florence fic was a bit more epic than I could handle right now. Then I said, hey, the F/G needs some Faith+Buffy backstory anyway; I'll write that! I got 1000 words in and stalled.

Meanwhile I started a completely pointless Faith+Giles+the winter apocalypse (the same one, presumably, that Oz is living through in the post-apocalyptic Ozfic), but as I say: pointless. It has no shape, no direction, no momentum.

And on top of all that, I got thoroughly confused about which day was my day.

However, maintainer aaronlisa has kindly let me post late, and so finally we have the first chapter of A Little Less Alone, which will eventually be the aforementioned Faith+Buffy fic. Because the world needs more post-series Faith+Buffy fic, darn it! (Eventually I mean to get that bit beta'd and post the whole completed and revised fic here. Not sure when that's going to happen, though.)

Oh, that looks like an interesting fic - I shall keep my eye out for updates as and when.
