2. When you look at the chart of your journal statistics, what is that little gray number just under the "Total Traffic" tab?

I don't think I've ever looked at my stats (there are stats?) Now you've made me curious....

Thanks! I do remember seeing that little chart before, but it's not something I look at often enough to know if viewing is up or down. As I would have expected, it seems busiest on the weekends and when I've posted fic.

1. Not really. My traffic varies wildly depending on what I post, but overall, I seem to get the least amount of traffic in the winter.

2. No idea. The best I can guess is that it's the axis label for the top of the chart, telling you what the value is if the bar goes all the way to the top (except they never do, because they resize the chart). It seems kind of useless, but I can't figure out anything else it might be.

2. That would make sense. Which means the number is almost-but-not-quite-completely meaningless. Phooey.

On the other hand, the statistics only go back about a year, and I have been posting a lot more this summer than I ever have before, so who knows?
