First, the masterlist for the Willow round at genfic_minis is up. There's some neat stuff there. I was particularly struck by brutti_ma_buoni's lovely reimagining of Willow pre-S7, What Comes Next, and snowpuppies's highly effective horror piece The Slow Slide Into..., but there's plenty more.

dollsome, I've just discovered, writes the of kind elegant, character-rich Dollhouse fic that I've been looking for and couldn't find until now. She writes primarily DeWitt/Dominic. I started with One's Your Foe and One's Your Flame, an AU one-shot off "A Spy in the House of Love" (possibly still my favorite DH ep), but there's lots more.

And, remember when I was looking for a trove of "Restless" icons, but couldn't remember where I'd seen them? I should have known it was ruuger. The batch I was thinking of are all here, including Miss Kitty Fantastico. Yay.

Oh, I adore dollsome! She feeds my DeWitt/Dominic need. I actually have recced her a few times on my journal. She also wrote a wonderful DeWitt/Dominic meta on Spy in the House of Love.

Maybe you're where I found her, then. I stumbled across her a couple of days ago and I can't for the life of me figure out how.

I'm not much of a DeWitt/Dominic shipper - or a DH shipper of any kind, really - but her cool, elegant, unsentimental take on them works for me.

Ack, so tempting - I'm still unspoiled for Dollhouse season two, which won't be out here till the autumn. But I do want fic, especially around DeWitt. Might risk the one you rec specifically, which should be safe.

You're so welcome! I really liked the hope in that fic, the feeling of breaking free (the train), of cleansing (the rain), the returning to old roots (books, university). It just really worked for me.

BTW, if you're interested in some DH fic that's slightly less DeWitt-focused and much more with the funny, then you very much need to read penny_lane_42's Yuletide fic, Of Ill-Advised Imprints and Rather Fetching Ewok Queens. Sierra is accidentally imprinted as Queen of the Ewoks; hijinks and grunting ensue.
