At what point after Yuletide does it become more awkard to respond to fic comments than to not respond to them?

Obviously sometimes the comment is very likely to get missed, if it's been a very long time, but other than that, anytime is good.

Every now and then I'll ignore a snarky comment, but generally I respond to everyone.

Yeah, my wifi quit working so I had to be plugged into the modem whenever I wanted on the internet...which is obnoxious. So I wasn't around a lot.

I did see that you had an mpreg post, though, and I cannot wait to check it out!

In 2005, I organized a Secret Santa for my friends scattered all over the country. As far as I know, one gift still needs to be mailed.

Hope is eternal! As to whether the gift is still gathering dust, good question. I'll ask my friend tomorrow :)

I think unexpected gifts have their own virtue. I personally love to get surprise christmas gifts in August, and the delay barely matters compared to the OMG PREZENT!!!! excitement.

I think getting a response to a comment I've forgotten about writing would be just as nice.
