I got behind during the Week of Intense Crazy just before Christmas, and haven't caught up yet. So I haven't seen anything past The Public Eye/The Left Hand. And the flist's reaction to stuff past this seems to be, "Meh."

Tell me, O flist: do I need to get caught up so I can squee/grumble over the last few eps with you all? Or should I just not bother until life settles down more (say, spring break)?

Speaking just for myself, I'd feel no rush, though I wouldn't want to miss it altogether. If you like plot twists and turns coming fast and furious, you'll love it. If you want layers and nuance, more with the meh. (At least I can't find much in the way of layers and nuance). Topher remains the highlight; Caroline/Echo the lowlight.

The two episodes after the ones you watched were interesting, but the two after that were freaking amazing! The last one was pretty action-packed, and then there are just two more. Why not finish up with the rest of us? C'mon! It'll be fun! Or something.

Well, selfishly, I'd like you to be caught up so I can hear your thoughts. But to be honest, I found everything after The Left Hand to be pretty resoundingly "meh," so in itself, that stretch of episodes isn't really worth watching right away if you've got better things to do...

Maybe, if you're not too picky about spoilers, just read reviews of the ones you missed, watch the last two as they air, and then go back and catch up on the middle bit when you have time?

(The November break did me in - my urgent sense of squee has moved on to other things. I'll still watch it all at some point, and probably love it, but I've stopped caring about getting behind.)

I know what you mean. I got out of the habit of watching TV during the summer of 2008, and never really came back. IMO, the networks need to finish getting over this idea of seasonal TV if they want to keep their audiences. The dead zone during the summer is just killer.
