I'm having that problem where I can't remember if the scene I'm remembered is from canon or fic.
Does an angel at some point tell the boys that they've drawn their devil's trap / angel sigil / mystical symbol wrong, but he helped design it and shows them a better one? Or is this fic? EDIT: goldenusagi confirmed that the line I remembered was indeed from her fic. Oh, well.
