All the things I "know" about Supernatural

goldenusagi asked me how much I'd been spoiled for SPN, and since I rather feel that my TV watching is a spectator sport anyway, I thought y'all might be amused by a list. Please don't confirm or deny any of my notions; I don't want to be spoiled any more than I already am. :)



* Sam and Dean look for their dad John. Eventually they find him, and then he dies to save someone's life (Dean, I think?).

* Sam becomes psychic eventually. It has something to do with a demon with yellow eyes. This is part of a long-term plot arc that started when he was a kid and didn't get killed by the thing that killed his mom.

* There's a woman named Jo. She either turns evil, or she dies. I forget which.

* Ditto a woman named Ruby.

* There's a guy named Bobby who helps the Winchester boys sometimes. He's grumpy.

* There's a guy named Chuck who writes prophecy about the Winchesters and calls it fiction. Or possibly fan fiction.

* An angel named Castiel shows up and steals the body of a guy named Jimmy. He only has metaphorical wings, mostly. He's asexual, being an angel and all. Dean may or may not be trying to change that.

* There's a war in heaven. God is missing. Lucifer seems to be winning.

* Meanwhile, Gabriel is a trickster angel who drops our heroes into the middle of Grey's Anatomy. (I saw about five minutes of this ep once.)

* To save Sam, Dean spends some time in Hell. Eventually he and Sam both are alive and on Earth at the same time.

* But! By then Sam has lost his soul. Also his hair gets really long. (I blame this conflation of facts on st_salieri.)

* Gabriel dies.

* Sam gets his soul back.
