Sunday linkdump

In no kind of order.

* Donald Trump is Gaslighting America - while the rest of the media wibbles, Teen Vogue is ON IT

* Trump, Mocking Claim That Russia Hacked Election, at Odds with G.O.P. - (NYT) Some Republican leaders are concerned about this Russia thing, which gives me some hope for humanity. Here's a statement from bipartisan Senate leadership on the issue.

* Related calls to action regarding election interference: calling your reps to request the review in time for electors to vote, a script for same.

* Doxxing May Become A Federal Crime - (Buzzfeed) Bill introduced by Rep. Katherine Clark of MA, same legislator who introduced the No Religious Registry Act.

* A Wisconsin court case may be the last best hope to fix gerrymandering by 2020 (Vox) - fascinating, possibly hopeful read

* A thread on the Moral Mondays activism in NC that eventually resulted in incumbent Republican governor being defeated in last election. (I really need to know more about this; I have a hold in on a library book about it.)

* Facebook added an option to report fake news

Thanks so much for sharing these. What library book are you planning to read? (Also, the Facebook option to report fake news sure had a lot of discussion that didn't seem to go anywhere... but those other links were aces!)

Yeah, tbh I don't even use Facebook much, so I don't have any kind of educated guess on how useful that will turn out to be.

I should have specified the book! It's The Third Reconstruction: How a Moral Movement Is Overcoming the Politics of Division and Fear, co-written by Rev. William Barber, who helped found the movement.

I'm glad you find the links helpful. :)
