Fanfic for the Emily series by L M Montgomery. Takes a cracky premise (the diary of Emily's hated high school rival, turning Emily Climbs inside out in a sort of Rosenkrantz and Guildenstern are Dead way), but it's just good, the writing, the characterization, how very unlikable Evelyn usually is yet how completely different from her flat cameos in Montgomery.

Date: 2013-11-08 10:36 pm (UTC)(Also, hi, you! I realized the other day that I hadn't seen you post in forever, and today I had ideas of going to your journal and just commenting on the most recent post to say that you were missed. And here you are! Anytime you felt like posting to LJ again, on any topic whatever, I (and lots of other people, I suspect) would be happy to see you.)

Randy and Joan to me when I was pretty new to this fandom; but pretty much anything they recommend is gold.
This is the most practical Spuffy fic I've ever read.
