Jeeves and Wooster horror rec. Yes, really

A very long time ago I wished for a time travel fic in which Buffy and Spike go save Bertie Wooster's Aunt Dahlia Travers from some supernatural fix or other. I still wish it.

But in the meantime, I have Jeeves and the Creature of the Night, which is what happens when Bertie allows the wrong young woman to cadge a ride. As the warning says: "Character death. Decapitation. Newts."

Well, yes, there is that, but please not that I said "a" and used a lower case "g." And the Laurie/Fry British TV series is such a delight. I never tire of the Plumbo Jumbo.

I do dearly love the Fry/Laurie series - even more than the books, really. I can only take Bertie's narration in small doses, but I can watch Fry and Laurie do their thing all day.
