Oh, wow.

Topher and Sierra and Adelle and Boyd and Sierra/Victor and very little Echo and no Ballard at all - just what I wanted. And did I mention Topher?

"If you say so."

This is the storytelling this premise and cast can do, given the chance.

"This secret we have - can you keep it?"

"I can keep it. But I don't know if I can live with it."

"I know I can't. But I don't have to."

Oh, wow.

Oh, amen to every word of this.

I'm hoping for a more thoughtful entry later. Maybe after a rewatch? But that may just be optimism.

I'm most interested in your thinky thoughts, as always. But I understand the optimism that doesn't quite work out.

Was my Sierra/Victor love more understandable after this episode? ;)

Hee. I never denied they were cute. I'm not sure I love them yet with your deep and passionate love. But they're both good actors and I certainly never mind seeing them onscreen together.

Oh, I know. I was being silly. ;)

I'm not sure I love them yet with your deep and passionate love. Well, probably no one does. I just...Enver has such soulful eyes! And the way he looks at her! *sigh*

I can't stop myself from shipping, no matter what it is I'm watching. It's a sickness.

I've started waiting to watch each week's Dollhouse until I see your comments-- so last week's I skipped. I'm glad to hear this week is better!

I am much amused (and flattered). Last week's was definitely missable, except there's a sequence in which Victor accidentally downloads a woman's personality. Try "Victor as Kiki" on YouTube - it really is something else.

And how awesome does Adelle continue to be?

"Given that you're a raping scumbag one tick shy of a murderer I can't recall: Do you take sugar?"

With so much awesome this episode, some of the smaller moments get buried. How cute was Victor trying to wash away the black paint? And Echo's notes hidden under the lid of her sleep pod?

True. Those are both fabulous moments that you mention. Echo's notes, especially, were such a great visual surprise.

And, happily for you, no Ballard! :) (I confess, I didn't miss him, either.)

And did I mention Topher?

Yeah... I still don't really like Topher, so that brought the episode down for me (as did the "Echo will save us all" anvil), but other than that, I thought it was a good one.

Fair enough. I've liked Topher basically since the very first episode, but I can certainly see how he could get on some folks' nerves.
