I hit 40k words on Seraph today. This makes it, incomplete, four times the length of my longest completed work, either original or fanfic. And this is particularly exciting because length has always intimidated the heck out of me.

As to me being bilingual, I realized recently that I can hardly speak English. I often write but I rarely have a chance to speak.

I can definitely see that. I write it a lot better than I speak it, too, and it's my native language! Of course, when I'm writing I get to go back and smooth things out and take out the repetition, and so on. *g*
