Updated my DW layout, mostly because I was tired of what I had. (I hear some people move their furniture around instead.)

Had the same problem I always have: why do DW layouts always feel like they take up so much space? I always feel like there's too much blank space or the font sizes are too large, or something. There is not a single one of the DW base layouts that appeals as much to me visually as at least a half dozen of the LJ layouts.

I have exactly the same problem with AO3 - I feel as though I ought to be able to get a lot more information on my screen at the same time.

Anyone have any DW layouts / AO3 skins they prefer that helps minimize this?

On the plus side, now my DW flist colors are right way out again; my previous layout swapped the background/foreground colors.
