new Genfic Minis round!

It's the Faith round over at genfic_minis. Despite the lure of potential Faith-Giles gen, I'm not participating this time because my fic brain has been uncooperative for, like, three months, which is why I still owe eilowyn a fic from the last round. But you all should, because genfic = ♥.

Women vs. Dean Winchester

You guys, I am so hungry to see Dean have a relationship - any kind of a relationship, romantic or not - with a woman that lasts longer than a week and consists of more than sex and/or manly heroics. Not saying it can't include those things, but also it should involve, like, conversation and mutual respect. I love the boy, and considering his very male-centric upbringing I can't entirely blame him for his rather narrow ideas of womankind, but good heavens do I want someone to teach him some enlightenment - by smacking him over the head with it, if necessary.

Basically: Dean&Woman long-term. Any relationship! Please! The sibling-type relationship with Jo that we saw in "No Exit" would be nifty if we dropped the schoolgirl crush vibes. Or we could have extended time with Ellen. ANYTHING.

(Just so we're clear, I don't actually expect any improvement in canon. Good thing there's fic. Hey, maybe I'll start shipping Dean with Ellen. At least then he'd be sleeping with someone with personality, and Jo being royally ticked off - not to mention grossed out - would just be bonus. Amirite?)
