random SPN musings
Mar. 23rd, 2011 12:12 am* This series has the lamest episodes titles, bland at best and unfortunately silly at worst. Route 666? Phantom Traveler? Bleah.
* I would like an episode with snow, please. Even better, something where sufficient clothing, shelter, and potential hypothermia become issues. Sasquatch always a welcome bonus.
* Without shipping anyone yet, I've already managed to form shippy opinions about this show. Sam is by far the more flexible and socially open of the boys, and I could see him working out a relationship with any one of a number of different women. He's a "lots of fish in the sea" kind of guy (although given his still-fresh grief about Jessica, I wouldn't tell him that just now). Him I could multi-ship without reservation.
Whereas Dean focuses so intently on the few people he cares about to the exclusion of just about everyone else that I can't imagine him falling in love more than a couple of times in his life; however many girls he sleeps with, it's going to be a rare one indeed that manages to actually catch his attention, and an even rarer one that would be a good match for him and not get sucked under by his issues. He's the kind of guy OTPs get built around. I suspect that when/if I settle on someone to ship him with, that'll be it for me.
OTOH, I appreciate that so far this is not a show that focuses on the romantic ships, at least not in the present tense. It's a nice change.
