snick_backupThe idea that Buffy is still hung up on Angel, after all the clear not-rightness we saw at the end of BtVS S4, her several relationships since then, and particularly the Spuffy relationship I thought I saw in S7 (even though I didn't care for it much), suggests a great deal of stupidity on the part of either the writers or Buffy.
Is the damage he caused still having a major effect on her? Oh, yeah. But I'd rather thought she'd gotten over her dreamy-eyed first love stage. Then again, I also thought the tongueless kiss and the cookie dough speech was shameless audience pandering, not serious characterization. It seems I was mistaken.
