The West Wing, cont'd
Sep. 30th, 2010 06:34 pmStill working on S2, whenever I have enough time to sit down with dinner and watch an ep. Still enjoying, although I suspect my patience with politics (any politics) is going to run out well before the show does. This is a pity, as I like the characters quite a lot and want to know what happens to them.
I love Ainsley, as everyone (by whom I probably just mean
penny_lane_42 and
eowyn_315) knew I would. I miss Danny Kincannon - is he one of those that disappears without a trace? I continue to adore Mrs. Landingham and Toby and CJ and, yes, Josh (what is he good at, again?).
Recently saw "Ellie," which just broke. my. heart. I have a thing about father/daughter relationships (and father/son, too - there's a pivotal scene at the end of Bujold's The Warrior Apprentice that had me in tears), and this ep hit that tender spot straight on. Even though I have a pretty good relationship with my dad, Eleanor makes so much more sense to me as a character than Zoey does. I get exactly where she's coming from.
I gotta get me a WW icon one of these days.
